Habitat for Humanity: Southeast Ohio

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio brings local families, individuals, businesses, and organizations together to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

Our church is a member of the Habitat for Humanity Southeast Ohio Faith Build Coalition (FBC). The FBC consists of many churches in the Athens area. The FBC raises money for homes and participates in building of the homes. The major fundraising events are the Scrap Metal Drive at the Athens County Fairgrounds twice a year, Rummage Sale at Christ the King Catholic Church twice a year, and the 5k Fun Run once a year in the fall. Churches (ours included) also raise funds within their congregations. The Habitat website provides sign-ups for volunteering at build sites and other volunteer activities.
