Blessing of the Wheels May 16 & 17, 2009 we demonstrated a PET device & raised funds to purchase 9 more. PET devices are low-cost forms of transportation that enable those who can't walk to travel over the rough roads in many of the 3rd World Countries.

Annual Conference 2009 June 7-11, 2009 over 2600 pastors and lay persons gathered in Hoover Auditorium in Lakeside, Ohio for the West Ohio Annual Conference.
Sanctuary Painting On April 13, 2009, we began a seven-week project of painting the interior of the Sanctuary. It had been 25 years since the Sanctuary was last painted.
Monday Lunch Christmas Party 2008 Over 150 guests attended the annual Monday Lunch Christmas Party Dec. 21, 2008. In addition to church members bringing food, several area restaurants were also generous with donations of prepared food. It was a great party!

Pipe Organ Renovation, Phase 1- Removal On June 18, 2007, the process to rebuild our existing system, clean and revoice the pipes, etc. was begun. This involved removing all the existing pipes and the organ console by the Schantz Organ Company in Orrville, Ohio the builders of the original instrument. Women's We Care Group December 2006
When the women's We Care group learned that over 50% of the children in the Nelsonville school district are on the free lunch program, they decided to provide food to put into 245 children's backpacks for them to take home over Christmas break. The Church Office and Work Room were filled with fresh fruit, peanut butter, crackers and other items, awaiting the packing process on December 15. Pentecost Celebration 2005
This year we celebrated the Eight Days of Pentecost, starting with a festive worship service on May 15 which included a baptism and reception of new members, and concluded with a children's carnival, pot luck, and talent show on May 22.
Art & Soul for Africa, 2005
Annual fundraiser for our support of missionaries Herbert and Mary Zigbuo in Liberia. This year's event included entertainment, food and an art auction.
Monday Lunch, Summer 2004
Monday Lunch continues to go strong and steady. We now serve anywhere from 100 to 150 every Monday. This summer we had helpers of all ages, and we said "Goodbye" to Bruce Philpot, a faithful ML volunteer and Soap Bubbles Ministry Coordinator
Pentecost Children's Carnival, 2004
On May 23rd we began a week of Pentecost Celebration which included a children Sunday school carnival held behind the church. The weather was perfect and the kids had a great time.
Vacation Bible School 2004
Sixty-one children age 3 through 6th grade had a great time during Songames 2004, July 26-30.
Church Gets a Face Lift
During June and July 2004 the exterior of the church building was painted. The process involved the use of two lifts (one that was 100 feet tall to reach the steeple) and significant work on the front doors (stripping them down to the bare wood).
We Care Group Prepares Monday Lunch
On Monday, May 10, 2004 the members of the We Care women's group prepared and served Monday Lunch so that Allene and the regular ML volunteers could have a day off. Not only did they give them the day off, but they also treated them to lunch at the OU Inn.
