Pastor Barbara Jean and students from Wesley Student Center spent the beginning of the winter quarter break doing work in Louisiana. They flew into New Orleans and spent time doing home repairs for Habitat for Humanity. Next they moved on to the Dulac United Methodist Community Center where they painted and ripped out carpeting in three apartments. They spent the remainder of their time at the UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) Depo, where items gathered by United Methodist congregations all over the country are sorted, stored and later shipped to other locations as they are needed.
