In 2000 First United Methodist Church adopted Herbert and Mary Zigbuo as missionaries. That promise includes a commitment to support of prayers and financial assistance for the next several years.
Herbert is a native of Nengbehn Town, Liberia and an ordained elder in the Liberia Annual Conference. Mary is a native of Bolton, North Carolina. They live in Liberia where he is Co-Director of the educational ministry of the United Methodist Church of Liberia.
We welcomed three of their daughters, Yah, Dale and Agnes, for a visit in late January, 2001, during one of the worst snow storms of the season. They are living in the US while completing their education.
