Wesley Student Center Announces Scholarship Opportunties
The committee on higher education and campus ministry (CHECM) would like to announce two scholarships (The Frank and Ella Roche scholarship, and the Browne scholarship) available for the 2009-2010 school year.
In 1965-Donna Stout gave $2,000.00 to establish the Frank and Ella Roach Education Fund.
In 1966 she gave $3,000.00 more. The intention of the fund was and is to have the interest
earned used to help college students involved with Athens FUMC. The award is approximately $200.
Applications are due by April 30, 2010, 4 PM. Applications must be given to the church secretary or the Wesley Student Center director or mailed to 2 S. College St. by the deadline. youth and current students who are active in the first United Methodist Church are eligible to apply . Click below to download the individual applications:
